Dataset licensing & terms

This page bundles a short commercial summary, terms for public samples, and full commercial sale expectations. It is provided for transparency; it is not personal legal advice. For contract wording specific to your entity, consult qualified counsel.

A copy of the export ZIP license notice is also included inside Dataset Lab downloads as LICENSE_EXPORT.txt.

1) Commercial summary (at a glance)

  • Seller: Quality Vision / Quality Bijoux Ltd (as stated on invoices and product pages).
  • Deliverable: engineered exports—typically JSONL, manifests, stats, and QA files—not a sale of raw source videos as a clip library unless explicitly contracted.
  • Channels: ready-made bundles may be sold via Gumroad; Dataset Lab frame quotas may be sold via PayPal as described on dataset pricing.
  • Use: commercial use is permitted when you purchase a commercial tier or bundle that explicitly allows it; public GitHub/Hugging Face samples may use a separate non-commercial license unless you purchase a commercial license from us.
  • Redistribution: you may not redistribute our full commercial exports publicly (e.g. re-uploading the purchased dataset for others to download) unless a written agreement allows it.

2) Public samples (GitHub / Hugging Face) — EULA-style summary

Free or sample repositories are intended for evaluation, research, and integration testing. Unless a specific sample folder states otherwise, treat samples as non-commercial evaluation under terms similar in spirit to CC BY-NC: attribute the source, do not use commercially without a separate commercial license from Quality Vision, and do not misrepresent endorsement.

3) Full commercial sale (ready-made bundles & Lab exports)

Grant

Upon payment and delivery, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the purchased export files for your internal business and product development, including training and evaluating models, subject to the restrictions below.

Restrictions

  • No public re-hosting of the purchased full dataset for third-party download without written permission.
  • No removal or falsification of attribution fields where present in metadata (e.g. manifests, engine version).
  • Source filenames may reflect third-party stock sources; your use of exports must respect the underlying content policies described in product documentation (exports are not a license to redistribute raw video).

Warranty disclaimer

Datasets are provided as-is. We describe quality metrics and filtering in good faith, but we do not warrant fitness for a particular regulated use (e.g. medical devices) without a separate written agreement.
